Dr. Shadonna Davis, LCSW, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the Whitney M. Young Jr. School of Social Work at Clark Atlanta University. She teaches human development, clinical theory and practice, and qualitative methods. Her community-engaged research projects have been integral in addressing institutional issues and increasing positive outcomes for children and their families. Dr. Davis is a Co-Investigator for a basic/guaranteed income pilot in Georgia. She also leads several research initiatives focused on school-based mental health interventions, mentoring, and reentry programs.
